A smartphone for gamers is being prepared by Asus. Jerry Shen, CEO of the group, revealed the information in an interview with Astig. Unfortunately, it has returned more than that in the details: we do not know anything about its release date, its technical sheet or even its name. The latter could take the name ROG (Republic of Gamers) that we already know for PCs and accessories. This is a brand known among video game enthusiasts and presents on the eSport scene, it would be a shame to deprive yourself of such a showcase.
Asus: a ROG smartphone for gamers?
This smartphone gaming will compete with the forerunner in this area, the Razer Phone, available in Europe since November 2017. Is it main arguments? A screen with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, excellent audio quality, and a particularly efficient cooling system. In this sector, we can also see the Xiaomi Black Shark, which seems to bet on ergonomics with an accessory acting as a gamepad and also offers a promising multilayer cooling system, and at a price much softer than the Razor Phone.
While waiting for this potential smartphone ROG, we can not wait to be in June to live the release of Zenfone 5z, the best smartphone presented to the MWC 2018 according to us. In Europe and America, two versions will be marketed: one with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space and another with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory, all propelled by the inevitable SoC Snapdragon 845.
